Kris Russell is a 30-year veteran of Stage, Film, Radio, and
the Record Industry. She holds a BA in Theater and Music, and
a Master's in Education (Thesis Pending), but says she values
most her professional training. Kris Studied at HB Studios,
NYC, and The Northern California Academy of the Dramatic Arts,
where she was coached by master teachers from The Royal Shakespeare
Academy, London, The San Francisco Mime Troupe, The American
Conservatory Theater, San Francisco, and The Julliard School,
NYC, to mention a few.
Her
resume sports such credentials as Off and Off Off Broadway
Leads, Roles in TV and Film, Staff and Lead Announcer positions
for National Radio Syndications, and World Wide Radio Satellites.
As a voiceover artist her credits include, Sony, Epic, and
Colombia Records, Subaru, Buster Brown Shoes, and Coca Cola.
As a Nashville Songwriter, Kris has had 37 songs picked as
album cuts and her song; "The Least of These" has
been playing in heavy rotation nationally for the past nine
Christmases. As a vocalist, Kris was one of 29 artists chosen
to perform at the 1989 United Nations World Peace Conference.
Kris
has also helped to launch the professional careers of many
of her students. Seven of Kris's Students have landed professional
artist management contracts, and a record deal in Los Angeles.
These students can be seen on National TV in Movies, Commercials,
and on Radio Disney, as well as performing the National Anthem
at many local and national sporting events.
