Kevin Alumbaugh began his teaching career in 1977 teaching group
lessons for Kansas City MO. Parks and Recreation while attending
college at UMKC Conservatory of Music.
He
has performed in numerous groups and is a founding member
of the Evergreen based band Baba Gannoush. Kevin composed
many of the songs for the bands CD, "Egg Planet".
Kevin
moved to the Evergreen area in 1991 and taught at Evergreen
Music until December 1999. Recognizing the growing demand
for music lessons in Evergreen, he established Evergreen School
of Music in January 2000.
Evergreen
School of Music (ESOM) has fulfilled Kevin's vision for a
teaching only facility that emphasized performance goals with
regular concerts and recitals.
